Came across a really good protein-yogurt recipe some time ago and have been enjoying it since then. I like it because it’s a great dessert dip that’s easy and quick to make. It also fulfills my serving of protein, and has other healthy ingredients in there. This dip is a great variation for those who use protein powders for working out but also can enjoyed by just about anyone as dessert.


The version I made in these images should serve two people because it may be too much sweet for one person alone.  I used my usual whey chocolate protein powder but you can always make it less sweet by using a Vanilla or Cinnamon-French Toast flavored protein. You can even switch the almonds for chunks of chocolates or raisins. I am always looking for other ways to make my protein intake more flavorful, and interesting since it can become very repetitive. It’s also nice quick dessert to make for your guests.

 Apple Chocolate-Protein & Greek Yogurt Dip


All the ingredients you need for one small bowl is: (size of bowl shown in image above)


  • 3/4 Cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 to 1 scoop of Protein Powder (depends on how much you prefer)
  • One Green Apple
  • Sliced Almonds
  • Honey
  • One Piece of Chocolate

Start out by adding 3/4 cup of Greek yogurt to your small bowl, then add your scoop of protein powder to the yogurt. Start stirring and mixing until it becomes a nice, smooth, and creamy. See below:


After the mix becomes nice and smooth start placing apples against the sides of your bowl.  Add as many sliced apples as you can fit, or add the amount of your liking. Once apples are placed along the corners of the bowl drop the chocolate in the middle. Sprinkle the almonds among the middle of the dip and drizzle the honey all over the top of the dip.
