Let’s face it ladies, NO ONE likes to see your camel toe while you’re exercising, or better yet… while you’re wearing anything else. I know this is a super un-sexy topic to discuss, but I have some effective solutions that really work. I PROMISE! And this is why you will never see me caught up in any sort of a “cameltoe” situation. 🙂

Now, for the sake of this blog, I am going to define a Camel toe: Camel toe, or cameltoe, is slang for the outline of a woman’s labia majora in tightly fitting clothes.

I get it! You want to wear tight-fitting leggings but after putting them on you look in the mirror and notice that weird middle-cut situation going on down there. It gets even worst when you start exercising (ughhh). I see way too many women struggle with this one, and I feel like many women just don’t know how to fix this issue. So I am here to help put an end to that situation for you, and the rest of the world having to see you go through it. Here they go…

1.Get Some Quality Workout Leggings

Yes, you are going to spend a little more money on higher-end brands, but I promise it’s worth it.  Brands like ‘Lululemon’ and ‘ALO-Yoga’ have technology built into most of their styles to prevent you from getting a camel toe. Their stitching is done in a way that pulls the fabric away from the center of your body. I am a living proof of this.

2.Pick Panties With Sturdier Linings/Fabrics

Yes, we all love lacy/sexy panties, but let’s save these for times that you’re not working out (like date night). Wear panties of cotton fabric that have double lining during exercise. You’ll not only get a sturdier support against a camel toe, but it’ll also allow you to breath down there (thus avoiding yeast infections at the same time).  Also make sure that extra layer of lining on the inside of your panties are higher in depth by getting the correct size in “panties”. Smaller sized panties that still fit you tend to have lower inner lining, thus offering less/no support in the area that your legging stitches cut you in.

3.Start Using Panty Liners

This option is by far the most effective and the cheapest solution to your camel-toe issues. And it works like a miracle. I recommend getting it from CVS/Target, and make sure they are on the longer side. They’re usually super thin, and they even have scented kind (not my preference). I like these unfolded types better than the ones that are wrapped up for traveling (see image below). But I promise that using panty liners will help get rid of your camel toe or at least make it 80% better than not using one.

In closing I feel like this is one of those topics that is super uncomfortable to discuss, but totally necessary. I am a little uncomfortable discussing it too, but I don’t want to hold this secret away from so many of you girls any longer. You deserve to know and help yourself 🙂

  1. Omg girl! It is such a taboo topic but needed! I couldn’t agree more I see WAY too many woman in the gym with this. I use the panty linear trick and works amazing and also have good workout leggings to avoid that too! Great tips!!!
